Our Story
Jones Insurance Group was founded in 2011 by Jonathon Jones with a simple goal: help people find the right insurance without the confusion, pressure, or runaround that too often comes with it.
It started close to home — helping family members navigate Medicare and find life insurance that actually made sense for their situations. Word spread, neighbors asked for help, and what began as a personal commitment grew into a full-service independent insurance agency rooted in the Travelers Rest community.
More than 15 years later, that same commitment drives everything we do. We're still the same agency that will sit down with you, listen to your situation, explain your options in plain language, and help you make a decision you're confident in — whether you're turning 65 and navigating Medicare for the first time, protecting a growing family with life insurance, or covering a small business you've worked hard to build.
We're an independent agency and a licensed Travelers Insurance agent — which means we have access to policies across a broad range of carriers and can compare coverage and pricing to find the best fit for each client.
